Rafgy grabbed the cane. "Thank you.. can i call you sir?" He luagehd silently to himself. "I'll clean teh deck for you if they don't mind, i really need something to do over here.. it's dull down here! Lucky you youtr part of a ship and do stuff constantly.. you need a break" He began to attempt to do a few hand trivcks with his cane, but his fingers were so short he fumbled and almost dropped the cane in the water. "And.. i need this cane taken away form me before i kill someone..or..me. -_-' "

"Well, come on you two." said Ulysses, hopping down from the ship's deck onto the dock.
He looked at Rafgy, as if noticing the ettin for the first time. Which he was.
"Um, do you know where's a pub around the town? We're looking for new crew members," he asked the ettin.

Skye finally got out of her bed and groggily staggered up onto the deck, followed by Edo. "What's... for breakfast?" She mumbled to the others, her fur and feathers were all in a mess, she hadn't prettied herself up yet. Edo just grinned and walked over to the edge of the ship. She looked out at the port, seagulls were waddling about and chasing eachother away from any unfortunate fish that was stupid (and strong) enough to jump up onto the pier. She tried to giggled when she watched a fish fall back into the water while the gulls were fighting over it, but being a mute, she remained silent. The disease had affected her slightly before she hatched, taking away her voice and strength. She was very fragile, and had to avoid even tripping on the deck for fear of breaking every bone in her body.
Skye yawn before combing her hand through her flat brown hair. "Who's this?" She asked, looking at the Ettin.

((Mwahaha, nostalgia))
Tylrande beamed "Ooooh, how about French toast for breakfast?" She skipped over to the stove and cheerily started bustling about.
Chengo nodded at Ulysses and checked that he had his katana and pistols with him. It would be a bad idea to go into town without them...

Skye felt her stomach churn. She was so sick of french toast, she felt that if she had to eat it again she'd shove her leftovers down Tylrande's throat. "Nevermind, I'm... not so hungry at the moment. I was just wondering what was for breakfast." She said. "Oh, I almost forgot. There's a pirate who lives around here that lost her ship to a bunch of enemy pirates a few years back. She's an old friend of mine, and she couldn't put together a crew if her life depended on it, so she may still be here. If she is still around, I'd bet she's at a pub someplace, she can't live without her drink."

As if Rafgy hadn't heard Ulysses' question, he faced his back to ulysses and looked up at Skye and Edo. "I'm.. Rafgy.. And, if i knew where a pub was, i would be at it now" He replied to the both of them, then turned around and looked at Ulysses. (I can't spell that name.. x.x)

Ulysses was at first a bit annoyed at Rafgy's ignorance of him, but calmed down when he heard the ettin's response.
"Well, looks like we're gonna have to find it ourselves." he said.
"If you're coming, follow. We've a place to search for," he said, before turning and heading into the town.

Chengo beamed and trotted behind Ulysses, hoping that today's expedition into the unknown would be an exciting. He doubted it though, this was only a sleepy port in the middle of nowhere after all.

Rafgy followed behind. He didn't know what else to do and was jumping at every opurtunity(gack spelling) to escape form the spell of boredom. Following around these people would at least stop him form wandering into trouble, which he had a bad habit of doing.

(I hope it's alright if I post Yaris's old intro to the Serpent Rebels. I'm kinda in a hurry.)
Yaris slowly opened her eyes to find herself wrapped in very warm blankets. She slowly closed her eyes again, happy.
Then she opened them with a jolt.
She sat up. She was in an overhanging cot, which was swaying two and fro. Beneath her, she could hear very loud snoring. She looked over to see a bewolf norn, possibly a teenager, with stubbles on his face and a tankard of hooch in his paw.
She screamed.
Her scream woke everyone near her, and the three that had found her quickly rushed in, trying to calm her down. But nothing would calm her down. She was in a strange place. She wasn't on the raft. She didn't know where the hand was.
She began to actually shout words.
"WHERE IS THE HAND??'" she screamed in the face of the ettin. "WHAT DID YOU DO WITH THE HAND?? WHERE AM ?!"
"Calm down miss! The hand's safe!"
"I DON'T BELIEVE YOU!" shouted Yaris, now jumping down from the cot and looking at the ettin with utter contempt.
"Believe us miss!" shouted the grenorn. "Why would we do somethin awful wit that hand? Tis a god it is!"
"BUT WHERE.... THE SHEE.... AM....I?!" She screamed again.
"SILENCE!" boomed a voice.
Everyone turned toward the door to see the captin.
He was a Grenorn with a C2 grendel head, arms, and legs. The body was that of a muscular bruin and the tail was of an unknown breed. All anyone knew was that it was so long that no one had ever seen the end of it and the captain in the same room. He had only one eye, and he wore no eye patch. He also had a wooden foot, which clunked with each step.
He walked over to Yaris. She stood there, her eyes not showing the slightest amount of fear, but more of defience. Then the captain held out one gnarled paw and flung it about the room in a spastic way.
"Welcome to the clan of the Serpant Rebels." he said.

Zoom ran after the others, nearly bowling into the old Ettin before dancing around Ty. Laughing she ran into the bushes that lined the path, scaring the little creatures that lived in there out of their skins. Finally she jumped out at Ulysses, only to fall on her knees as she tripped on a root. Cursing she sat there looking at her dusty knees.

Ulysses glared at Zoom.
"I know you're a Wind element and all, but please try to calm down. You're going to start a fight if you keep on acting like that." he said, before continuing onwards.
Aiofa walked to the side of the ship, rested her hands against the railing, and gazed out to sea. There were two reasons for doing this.
One was that she was looking for anything that might threaten the Second Chance. The other was that she was thinking about something...

((Drac she ran back on board the ship to annoy Ty))
Zoom just returned Ulysses's glare, but unfortunately he couldn't see it. Sighing she got to her feet and brushed herself down. "So do you actually think we're going to find any help in this....place?" she asked struggling to find the right words for it.

Yaris stared out into the sea. It was amazing to be back on a ship again. She felt the wind in her red hair and breathed it in. Then she sighed. She wondered what her life would be like now. It would be interesting to be a pirate.
She heard someone else sigh.
She turned to see a beowulf norn standing nearby, also looking out at the sea.
"Uh.... hello?" she said.
The bewulf turned his head.
"Hi." he said. "You're the stray, aren't you?"
"I guess." said Yaris. She held out her hand. "My name's Yaris."
"Han." said the bewulf, taking the hand.
"So, what are we going to do?" she asked.
"Well." said Han. "The captain's planning on raiding this nearby village."
"I thought vikings did that." said Yaris. "Pirates raid ships."
"Well, we can't come across ships every day." said Han. "Sometimes we need to attack a village in order to get supplies."
"Hm." said Yaris.
"So, how'd you end up floating out on a raft, holding onto a hand, noless?" asked Han.
"It's complicated." said Yaris, waving her paw. "Got a bit hotheaded in an argument while I was on an island, and so I made a raft and just went to the sea."
"How'd you come across the hand?" asked Han. "I mean, I thought all hands were dead in these parts."
"I came across it on this island." said Yaris. "It was sick with Creaturespordium."
"Creaturespordium?" asked Han. "I've heard of it." he said darkly. "It's supposed to turn you into dust right after you die, right?"
"Yes. My cousin died of it. I saw the whole thing."
"I'm sorry."
"It was a long time ago."
"So, do you think this hand's dead?" asked Han.
"Well, if it were, it would have turned to dust long ago." said Yaris. "Of course, I don't know if CP affects hands differently than norns."
"'Ey Han!" yelled someone. They both turned to see a grendel with an eyepatch looking at them. "Chattn' up the stray, eh?"
"Uh, no. We were just talking, Jarg." said Han.
"Heh heh. Jus' talkin'. Righ'. Come inside, both of yeh. Yeh need yer rest fer tommoro."
Jarg ushered the two norns inside. They followed, closing the door behind them.

Skye was just about to enter the kitchen to complain about the choice of food, or lack thereof, when Edo decided to enjoy the view of the ocean from the upper deck. After a while, Edo began to feel a bit of concern, the little red gem on her forehead began to glow a bit more than usual, which usually meant something bad, or at the least, unpleasant, was about to happen. She didn't brood on it too long, probably just a fight about to break out someplace in town.
She watched as the gulls danced around in the sky, making everything just feel... better. The view, the town, the salty-smelling old port... everything. She nearly dozed off before the gem sent a small shock through her head. She clapped a hand over the gem before heading below deck to take a quick nap, she figured maybe she was still a bit tired and that would explain the gem's weird behaviour.

((One of my chars is indeed an ettin, but you haven't met him yet (but you will). Ulysses is an Akatora Norn, and Aiofa is a Magma Bengal.))
"You never know, Zoom. Well, you found me on that island, didn't you?" Ulysses asked.
"Either way, if anyone sees a place that looks like it might host creatures willing to join a crew, tell me." he added, and continued on.

Rafgy sneaked on behind them, a little suspiciously as always. "You guys should look anywhere where theres alot of people, y'know." He mumbled. "Like the pub, or, a hotel, or a tavern, or someon's house, or a party, or a guild, or a.. bath-house, or a prison,or a restaurant, or a castle place, or a - Okay i'll stop now" He ran to catch up with them, nerly tipping on his own feet as he did.
