((Ember: *logs in* thankyou Draconorn. Zerrer!!! Log back in!! Sorry dude about before!!! We're on a HIGHHHH!! Notadrughighjustanormalsugarhighwhichisjustastateofmind))
"Fine. And you can't boss me around." she sniffed before stalking over to Taavi. Smiling she handed him the form. "Here you go. Sorry about before. Didn't hear your warning about the office. And for other people's information, who said I trusted her?" she said loudly enough for an angsty teenager to hear. "Trust who deary?" Zelanda asked absently, looking up from making an fuss over Sprout. When no one replied she shrugged and turned back to the young.........boy. "So Sprout shall I take you guys on a tour of the school?"

"Yeah. That's okay. Just listen to me next time. This doesn't necessarily mean there is danger, it's just warning me to stay away because it feels a lot of power. Too much for it to protect me against." Taavi said while signing the paper.

"I could boss you around if I wanted." Danny muttered under his breath, scribbling his spiky signature on the form. "Right, take this back." As an afterthought, he added "Please." There was no way he could step into the room. Not with a dreamcatcher in there. Not only that, he could sense something else in there too. Something powerful and dangerous. Sprout put on the most angelic smile he could manage and asked "Can we see the library first?"

Raising an eyebrow she took the paper off Danny and muttered "Yeah right. And thankyou for saying please." As she walked back into the office she made a mental note to avoid Danny's gaze from now on. It was funny, every time they met they acted friendly for about five minutes then it all turned down hill. Oh well. Maybe things would get better as the day went on. "Here you go, um where should I put these?" she asked Zelanda who was finishing her tea. "Just on the desk dear." Zelanda replied. "Right now lets go see this library shall we?" ((KC......where arrrreeee yoooouuuuuu? ))

"Yes. The library." Taavi was grinning and even drooling slightly.

"Uhh, you've got a... little.. something... here." Amei commented, pointing at the drool seeping from Taavi's mouth feeling slightly embarrassed for him. "Now the library is down the hall here, take a left here and continue straight ahead before going up the stairs here behind the door. These stairs also lead to the dorms which are directly to the left on the first landing. The library is on the floor above and takes up the entire third floor." Zelanda narrated as she lead them quickly through the building. Amei's head spun at all the directions and groaned with relief when she heard the last part about the dorms.

((...Looks like BF is filling in for KC )) Danny glanced from Taavi to Sprout and back again, and they both appeared to be drooling at the thought of books. He grumbled something about bookworms under his breath and stuck his hands in the pockets of his jeans, glaring around him with an air of paranoid suspicion. Sprout was skipping along without a care in the world, excited at the thought of seeing the library. At the first mention of the dorms, Danny skidded to a halt. "Right, can I go?" He asked, scowling. He wanted some alone time, he wasn't in a people mood today. That, and Amei was going out of her way to piss him off. He needed a few hours by himself to cool off. "B-But you're supposed to protect me!" Sprout cried in horror, eyes wide. "...That guy'll protect you. I'm sure, you seem to get along fine."

"Of course. They're books!" Taavi told Amei. "Books are awesome. They're the reason I'm here."
Taavi noticed how distraught Sprout was when Danny left. "It's fine, Mani." Taavi said. "I'll protect you. I have magic that'll tell me if danger is nearby."

Sprout hitched up his smile again and shuffled over to Taavi. "Yay!" He said, acting a lot younger than his actual age. Like usual. Danny rolled his eyes and stormed off, thinking that if Sprout wasn't so into astrophysics he's make a good film actor. With those big gooey eyes and that big grin, he could get almost anyone wrapped around his little finger. The only people who didn't seem to be affected were Danny and his foster dad Jak. He grumbled to himself sullenly as he made his way up the stairs and then down the corridor, eventually coming to a room that had his and Sprout's names on it. Hm, despite how run-down the school looked from the outside they were pretty organised. He went inside the room and shut the door after himself, feeling better already. After glancing around to make sure that there were no spy cameras of scrying spells, he reached back and pulled a glowing green scythe out of thin air as though it had been strapped to his back, even though it was clear nothing was there before. He leaned the scythe against the wall, in the corner beside his wardrobe so that anyone who walked into the room wouldn't see it straight away, and hoped fervently that he wouldn't have to use it while he was here.

"Once we get to the library, tell me if you see anything that looks like this." Taavi asked Sprout, pulling the sleeve on his shirt up and showing off his Sigla. "If you see anything that has this sort of pattern, tell me please."

Zelanda merrily shrugged as Danny stormed off and continued on her journey. Upon reaching the library she swung the doors open dramatically. "And here we are. The third floor is compeletly filled with books, reaching from the floor to the ceiling. There are seats and computers as well. If you need anything else, you know where to find me." she rattled off. Amei smiled her thanks at the teacher before striding into the room. Pulling the nearest couple of books off the closest shelve she settled down in a big bean bag happily. "Ahh this is purrrrfect." she purred feeling like a cat in front of a burning fire

Spout nodded at Taavi. "Sure, I'll keep an eye out." The moment the doors were flung open his overly large pink-green eyes misted over and he darted over to the nearest shelf. "By the Thirteen, books on Transmutation! Fascinating!" He pulled down several thick tomes that were nearly as large as his chest and staggered over to a desk. He then proceeded to devour the text with his eyes, which might explain why they were so big. "Wow... mum never told me that shape-shifters always have two special forms... their true form, and their favoured form. Hm, you learn something new every day!"
Meanwhile, Danny had spent some time pacing around his new room. Even though he was alone, he still felt penned in. He knew one way to deal with that... flying. He hadn't flown for a while, and longed to stretch his wings. It didn't take him long to make his mind up. He went straight to his wardrobe, seized the scythe and stuffed it inside so no one could walk in and spot it. Even if someone opened the wardrobe and found it, they couldn't touch someone else's bound weapon without getting a good zapping. While standing well away from the window, he transformed. If anyone were watching him at that moment they would've been alarmed as he erupted into green flames, but Danny was used to it. When the fire died away the black and white, spiky armour plating his body was clearly visible, and his shadow-grey wings. He flung the window open and, with one last glance around the room, jumped out.

Taavi was home. He walked between the shelves, reading the titles of each book, no matter what language it was in. He took several books on rune magic, then sat down in a bean bag not far from Amei. He grinned and took out a small notebook. He started reading the first of the rune books, writing several runes in his notebook; in the 'safe shorthand' that mages used to keep the spells from activating on accident.
((I'm thinking that there has to be something to disturb everyone's reading\flying. Or at least we should zoom ahead to after all of this recreational stuff is done.))

((It's never too late! You can just...be whatever! Oh and btw guys, I’m gonna jumo a head a lil)) Zelanda shuffled back to her office mindlessly, humming a small tune under her breath. She had already forgotten about the students in the school, thinking she had only gone upstairs to sweep the nonexistent cobwebs away from the shelves in the library. But then again that was how her mind worked. Pulling open her office door she looked up at her filing cabinet briefly before frowning in confusion. She was sure she had had something propped up on that tiny little stand a couple minutes ago. Unable to remember what it was, she shrugged and sat back down to sip her tea and eat her delicious biscuits.
Swinging the dream catcher in front of her face, Amei gazed at it in a thoughtful silence. She had been reading for ages, and her mind was throbbing painfully. It was also getting quite dark and she found she was straining her eyes. The dream catcher fascinated her, with its rich golden reds entwined with sparkling orange and yellow beads that shimmered in the candlelight nearby. Small colourful feathers hung from strips of leather at the bottom of the circle whirling wildly as she swung it from side to side. What amazed her was Danny’s reaction to these simple things. She already knew about his past and why he reacted to them the way they did, but she wanted to know more about this. Her stomach growled nosily making her jump in surprise. But for now, I’ll just fill my stomach, She decided as she got to her feet and stretched, pocketing the dream catcher

"Hey, Amei!" Taavi called, obviously excited about something. "Look what I can do!" He set his book down and started chanting.
Suddenly, there was a burst of blue light from the ground in front of Tav. When the light had faded away, it left a small imp-like creature. The imp turned to Taavi. "Master." It greeted him.
"I created a minion!" Taavi bragged to Amei.

((@ Zerrer: That sounds like that cheesy Disney movie that was on once... what was it called again? :/ One thing I'm going to do is drop loads of random hints and things, which anyone else can use to carry the plot along. Starting with Sprout))
Sprout glanced over at the dream catcher with a disapproving pout as he put the books on Transmutation back on the shelf. "Don't let Danny catch you with that. Not that he could get close enough to throttle you, but still..." Not waiting for Amei's reply, he drifted away among the shelves. He ran a hand along the spines of the books as he walked, deep in thought. It was almost like he was divining for a book that really spoke to him, letting a book find him rather than searching for one himself. He finally paused and glanced down at the book the very tips of his fingers were resting on. It was black, and a lot smaller than the other massive tomes sitting on the shelf. The spine had no title on it, only a gold wire inlay. Utterly fascinated, Sprout slid the book out from between its brethren and took a good look at the front. The front had no title either. Only the same gold inlay, that curled round and formed into the image of some sort of winged creature when he touched it. Strange. Sprout decided that he liked this book, it was unique. And kind of pretty too. He eased the covers open and took a peek, before letting out a squeaky little gasp and slamming it shut. A book on the dark arts, Shadow Magic... he should've known from the rather ambiguous, title-free cover. Why they had a book on the darkest, evilest and very illegal variety of Shadow of Magic was anyone's guess. He ought to complain and have the book burned. But then again... it was rather pretty. Maybe he could get it out, just for a bit of light reading. While no one was looking he slipped it into his shoulder bag and continued browsing the shelves. There was few other things he wanted to look up, too. Like the relationship between life and death, to see just how unusual Danny's incurable case was. Were there others like him, or was he alone?
