The next solar eclipse is on 9/11 of this year.

They're really cool I've seen a partial Solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse, as well as two comets.

I've got you all beat. I've looked at Mars through a telescope, positively identified Venus in the sky, looked at the moon through the same telescope and identified the Sea of Tranquility, and discovered alien life. ... I lied about the last one.

Actually, I looked at lots of things through a telescope. I HAD one, and a pretty good one too. And that last comet was vewy pwetty :3..... remember that, Beatfreak?

Yes. And it stayed in our night sky for about a week. Thingy the solar eclipse is visible for the Northern Hemisphere, NZ doesn't get one until Feb next year.
