Here in New Zealand, Halloween isn't celebrated as much. I was just wondering, who here actually cares about the traditional trick or treating.

I don't celebrate any holidays, especially Halloween. But it is incredibly popular over here, I wish it wasn't, I'm sick of all those disgustingly hideous decorations all over the place.

Same here, Maraha. The only thing I care about is the candy. :3

I like halloween. I'm going as a nerd this year. My mom says it's my last year though.

Same here, Maraha. The only thing I care about is the candy. :3 Oh yes, the day after Halloween is when we spend all our cash on candy (which is on sale)! The only thing I like about holidays... is the treats that come with it. Mmmm.... Eggnog.

I like Halloween, but then I'm a freak who loves that sort of Goth stuff. I'm not allowed to celebrate it, otherwise I'd pwn my poor pocket money by spending it on the most top-of-the-line costumes :3

I like halloween loads, but I'm never allowed trick-or-treating...
'prolly because I have a love of dark/gothic stuff and would terrify the old grannys to death.

It's fun. Exept when you get granola.
My halloween sucked kinda for some lady gave us religous handouts bribing us with cookies to 'repent our sins for jesus' or some other bull.

When two people I know went trick-or-treating, all they got on one road was toothpaste. Now THAT sorta thing sucks.

As I live in the middle of nowhere, I just spend Halloween laughing my head off at the 'scary' shows on the TV. Man they're crack ups. I wish candy went on sale here after Halloween *grumblesulk*

I love halloween, it's liek a traditional holiday for us. I love the fact that you can dress up as whatever you want and not be afiard to do it. (walking in in full costume into the middle of target? You'd get kicke d out teh store, sorry) The candy is okay, but it doenst last as long. The memories of every year last ages until you forget about them. for as long as i remember we've done home-made costumes. The store premade ones stink like rotten eggs, most of them are well, crap. XD Deocrating is fun too, along wit hseeing the little kids get freaked out to no end. It's different in New Zealand though because it's not a city, your neighbors are liek hours away i bet.. mine arn't even a minute away. ;

There are plenty of cities in New Zealand, but BF and I live rural so we don't have many neighbours.
