Crackle.
Bzzzz...
Clink... clank...
A little robot sat alone in the ship's bridge. The Dicentra, it was called. It was once a grand ship, full of lively, kind people. Several large meteors smashed into the ship months after it left earth on its maiden voyage, and that's when everything went haywire. No living, breathing creature survived. Just the robots meant to maintain the ship. After many years the bots began to rust and break down. All but one was left standing. The others either rusted to 'death' or became severely dysfunctional. For example: the maid-bots failed to clean, they just wandered around poking the walls with their human-like fingers. The repair bots would go in circles, making strange buzzing sounds and beeping occasionally.
The little bot in the bridge had something carved into his chest... 'E-1315', and just below it was something written with a permanent ink marker; Bobot.
E-1315, also known as Bobot, just sat alone in the middle of the bridge, looking at the stars through the glass, hoping to find even a shred of life outside his desolated home.
----
Or something like that.
Rxi, there's no need to post a character sheet or anything like that. I know what Rxibot looks like, and you know whut Bobot looks like.
Sooo...
FIGHT!

Clunk! The piece of scrap metal endowed with a good deal of artificial intelligence called Rxibot drifted aimlessly into one of the many sturdy windows of the ship, its wayward corse through the universe disrupted by the once mighty ship. Upside-down, electronic red eyes noted the obstical in its path. A few miliseconds of consideration led to only one conclusion. There was no way Rxibot could outmatch the larger piece of matter in a contest of size, and thus there was no point in the small robot trying to push the ship out of the way.
"Oh. It appears I have again drifted to close to some form of an obstical. What a shame. I was just starting to enjoy the monotony of open space." said the machine, its metalic voice meloncholy and metalic. Distant suns of far off galaxys which the little robot may or may not have visited before twinkled in the void of the space-scape. As the metal creature drifted towards the massive ship again, it began to hum tunelessly, not ceasing its musical interlude even when it bumped into the hull of the craft again. Luck was with Rxibot today, it seemed, as it collided at an angle that allowed it to look at the interior of the ship. The sight inside made the robot turn its metalic head, rust floating off into space as it did so, to get a better look. Another robot appeared to be sitting inside. Maybe, if fate was with Rxibot, as fate usually was not, the robot could get a bit of help.

(*Dies too* That was utterly epic, to say it maed me laff would be a gross understatement. Now... How does Rxibotsomot get inside...?)

Bobot jerked his head in the direction of the 'clunk', rather startled by the sound. His eyes were fixated on the bot outside, they made a quiet 'virr' as they zoomed in on the other bot. Once he was certain it was what he thought it was - a fellow robot - his big round eyes lit up in several different colors as he raised his arms and joyously beeped and whistled.
But how would it get inside?
But of course! The large hole in the glass, it oughta be big enough for the other bot to fit through. He used the skateboard-like wheels in his rectangular feet to dash closer to the large glass screen. He pointed to the hole in the glass, to Rxibot's far left. "Other bot come inside?"

Though the words of the robot inside the ship were lost in the void of space, their meaning was not. The battered little robot locked its eyes on the hole Bobot had pointed out, noting its exact location for future reference. At the moment, it would take a good deal of luck and skill to maneuver itself towards the hole, and as time had been telling Rxibot, luck was not really the robot's forte. The scrapmetal robot sighed a meloncholy sigh and waited to see what would happen next. Tmp thmp! The little robot's electronic red eyes lit up as it drifted out and in, hitting the window to its far left by an inch. That small measure of distance was all Rxibot needed to reach out and grab a-hold of the jagged edge of the hole's side.
For a moment, the robot hung on to the window, its mind's circitry alive and flashing with thoughts on what to do next. The window's hole looked like it might just be large enough for Rxibot to fit through it, though it would be close. Dawdling a second longer, the metal creature calculated the area it would have to fit through, dredging up the measurements for its head and body. Luck, seemingly making up for lost time, was with Rxibot. The little robot calculated that it could fit through with a margin of two inches on all sides. With the knowledge that it would not be stopped by potentially dangerous shards of glass, Rxibot pulled itself over until it was right in front of the hole. With a strong pull, the metaloid creature found itself inside the ship which had, until this point, be an obstical in its intersteller space wanderings.

((Ooo, that movie nearly killed my siblings. When I watched it my emotions hadn't completely kicked in, so it didn't affect me, I think.)) Bobot forgot that sound didn't travel in space, so his cheering and beeping weren't heard by the newcomer. Surely there must be some sort of device in his little head that allowed him to communicate almost telepathically with it. Instead of trying to speak, he stepped a bit closer to Rxi before pointing a tiny robotic finger at the writing on his chest. E-1315 Bobot He had a look of utter glee on his face as he waved his other hand in a greeting. ((*Bricks self* Curse my lack of robot-y computer-y knowledge! *Dies*))

Rxibot's red eyes examined the other robot in approximatly .139 seconds, pausing for a milisecond on Bobot's name. After making the proper adjustments to its mental wave frequencies, the little robot spoke.
E-1315, Bobot. A newer model? What is your planet of origin? ...
inquired the bent up robot, relying on radio waves for the conveyance of its thoughts. While the small robot waited for Bobot to find the correct frequency to talk to it non-verbally, Rxibot took a look at its new surroundings. Though it was obvious the ship had seen better days, it was still full of technology that the falling apart robot had never known about.

How did it-wait! Radio waves, that must be the only way. Bobot felt silly for not realizing that sooner. Took a few seconds and a bit of adjusting in his little head, but Bobot finally got it.
E-1315, Bobot. A newer model? What is your planet of origin?
Bobot tilted his head to the right as he took a moment to let the bot's words sink in.
Newer model...? He thought for a moment; unsure of how to answer that question. It seems time had really done something to the little bot's mind.
Bobot originates from planet Earth.
(I consider myself a horrible person for not reading that book all the way through just yet. I'm busy with Truckers. q: )

Electronic signals flashed through Rxibot's synthetic brain, connecting Earth to some of its previous experiences. There was little data on Earth in its large mind, and the small robot considered the next logical step in conversation.
This is your ship then. It was also made on the planet of Earth, Bobot, E-1315?
asked Rxibot, the circuts in its mind working on the issues of verbal communication. Though signals were fine for some communication, it was harder for the scrap-like robot to convey it's thoughts easily by that method. Being of a much older design then should be around in that day in age, Rxibot was less equipt for that form of communication over long periods of time.

This ship is The Dicentra, Bobot's home. We were made on Earth a long time ago, but everything went wrong...
Bobot paused for a moment, his human-like emotions kicking in. He felt sadness, lost, alone. Sometimes he really disliked having those particular emotions.
What is your name?

The small, bespecticaled robot paused for a millisecond to consider its many names. Apart from the name Mildred one of its more eccentric owners had given it before that owner had died, the robot had been called by only one name.
This one is called Rxibot. ...Bobot, E-1315, how did everything go wrong if there is still a ship?
Querried the robot. Rxibot was a model of robot from quite the distant past and had supposedly been one off the first robots with any real personality. However, being made so close to the breakthrough of the GPP, Rxibot had a very monotone kind of personality.

It was hit by some meteor-esque object while the humans were in the cryo-pods, sleeping. Life support shut down, all the oxygen escaped, killing the garden room, and all the humans died. It's been so long since then, all the other bots are rusty and breaking down. Bobot had no one to communicate with; the other bots have no personality.
As he communicated with Rxibot, a rusty, humanoid bot with 'O-44' on its chest staggered in, looking at the two bots with quite a bit of curiousity.

Rxibot's central processing unit hummed momentarily as the dented robot took in what Bobot had said.
The robots without personalities...do those robots still fully function effectivly? Or have they become nothing more then scraps.
Commnunicated the robot, noting the presence of a new entity. Rxibot could tell the this robot, too, was a newer model then itself, though it lacked the personality that had come with Rxibot. The small robot decided after running though a million possible situations that the new robot was no different from those guide robots and automatic doors it commonly ran into while doing its master's bidding.
